On September 30, our customer meeting took place at Ouwehands Zoo. We look back on an inspiring morning in which director Ton Cieraad outlined the developments of De Haan IT over the past ten years. When you put those steps side by side, it is impressive how much has been achieved.
Our philosophy: one powerful integrated platform
De Haan IT has always worked from the same conviction: our software should help customers achieve their business goals. That’s why entrance, store and hospitality are fully integrated. The CRM is central to €lli. We don’t think in terms of “best of breed” but in “best of class”: one solution that brings everything together. In recent years, €lli has also become demonstrably faster, more stable and more secure. Several years ago, the software was already fully certified for completeness, security and stability, and recently the company obtained ISO-27001 certification.
Development and releases
During the meeting we delved deeper into:
- The development process within De Haan IT
- Version management and release planning
- The way new updates are rolled out to customers
€lli is continuously evolving, every customer benefits from new innovations through regular updates, and from 2026 our customers will be more closely involved in the development agenda.
New online features in €lli
More and more modules are now fully available online. In early 2026, De Haan IT is also rolling out its own €lli webshop. This offers many new possibilities for our customers, such as:
- Upload photos yourself with subscriptions
- Sell and redeem gift cards completely online
- €lli fully integrate into your website;
Links with ticket providers also remain possible, although this always involves partial functionality. Full integration takes place exclusively within €lli.
Looking ahead with BI & predictive reporting
One of the highlights of the morning was the demonstration of our new BI environment. This unlocks the €lli database in a clear, visual way including charts, dashboards and real-time insights.
In addition, we showed how predictive reporting can help organizations with:
- Scheduling personnel
- Estimating turnover
- Determining purchasing volumes
- Reducing working capital (in some cases by about 40%)
This makes data-driven work more accessible and effective.

Increased awareness of existing modules
The meeting revealed that many organizations are unaware of the powerful features they already have in place. The reservation system and the updated inventory package have now become full-fledged modules. We are going to better inform our customers about these features in the near future so that you can take full advantage of everything €lli offers.
Modernizing €lli: towards a hybrid future
The modernization of our software is in its final stages. The business logic is being centralized and €lli is being transferred to the hybrid Maui platform. This means that €lli will soon be completely independent of iOS and Android.
Roadmap 2026: continuing to build €lli together
Starting next year, we want to involve our customers even more actively in our product development. In new roadmap sessions we will discuss wishes, needs and ideas for future functionalities. Together we will continue to build €lli into the most complete platform in the market.
