Jamin

Cornelis Jamin started his well-known small candy shop in Rotterdam in 1850. Because it is originally a Dutch family business, the French last name is pronounced in the Dutch manner as “sjaa-min.”

The 1950s and 1960s marked the absolute peak of Jamin’s success: there were over 600 stores spread throughout the country. But times changed, and supermarkets grew larger. Still, Jamin remained strong, firmly rooted in the heart of the Netherlands. In 2007, the company got a breath of fresh air from a new group of investors. New energy, the same Jamin stores.

Today, Jamin is back—just the way you remember it! Think lollipop trees in the middle of the store, rainbow candy, candy silos reaching all the way to the ceiling, and candy from all over the world. From American classics to Japanese surprises. It’s trendy, exactly what you’re looking for, and comes in every color of the rainbow!

De Haan IT has connected all (about 90) stores to its €lli application. A single BackOffice system manages all stores, handling the tracking of all products, prices, sales, and peripheral equipment.
